Risk Analysis and Assessment ( Fire Group )

Course Overview

This intensive course provides a comprehensive understanding of fire risk analysis and assessment methods specific to the oil and gas industry. It emphasizes fire hazard identification, frequency and consequence analysis, risk evaluation, and control strategies.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

-       Identify and classify fire hazards in oil and gas facilities.

-       Understand fire phenomena (jet fire, pool fire, flash fire, fireballs).

-       Apply risk analysis techniques including frequency and consequence analysis.

-       Use industry tools and software to model and assess fire risks.

-       Evaluate and implement fire prevention and mitigation measures.

-       Interpret regulatory and industrial codes and standards.

-       Perform a fire risk assessment as part of overall QRA.
